Week 5 - Video & Picks

Last Week: 3-1-1

Season: 11-10 52%

I love winning man! It’s like so much better than losing man! Fresh off back to back winning weeks and now were in the money for the season! Let’s keep this money train rolling again this week with 5 more bets.

Auburn Team Total Under 15.5 points (v. Georgia)

Auburn’s offense is terrible, like really-really terrible. In their 2 games this season against Power 5 opponents, the Tigers have scored 10 and 14 points, gaining only 230 and 200 yards on 119 total plays which is only 3.6 yards per play. In fact, going back to last season, Auburn has been under 100 yards passing in their last 5 Power 5 games! That’s terrible. They only mustard up 56 yards passing last week against Texas A&M. Without a passing game I don’t see how they plan on scoring against Georgia because last time I checked the Bulldogs were the 2-time defending National Champs and they didn’t get that way by letting teams run all over them. Also consider that Auburn has scored: 10, 10, 6, 14, 10, & 7 points in their last 6 games against Georgia. Auburn has a problem today, their offense. Today is a bad day to have that problem against the Georgia Bulldogs. No way Auburn scores more than 15.5 points, give me the under on their team total points.

Nebraska +18 (v. Michigan)

This is the first away game for Michigan and this will be a rowdy crowd for the children of the Corn. Michigan has one of the slowest paced offenses in the country, so there will probably only be 8 possessions apiece. If we get double digit points or 2 touchdowns from the Cornhuskers, I think we cover easy because Michigan has yet to cover a spread this season and is content on running the clock in the 4th quarter.

Wyoming -14 (v. New Mexico)

New Mexico stinks, period. Wyoming is really good, especially at home. Two touchdowns just isn’t enough, Go Cowboys!

Ole Miss +3 (v. LSU)

Crucial game in the SEC West after the Rebels lost last week to Alabama and LSU barely escaped Arkansas. LSU needs to keep pace with the Tide and Ole Miss can’t afford another loss. I think the Rebels are the more desperate team and they are at home. A home team getting points, what’s better than that?

Arizona +18.5 (v. Washington)

Washington has been rolling, covering all 4 games thus far and averaging 50 points per game! Arizona is off to a solid 3-1 start and their only loss was in overtime on the road at Mississippi State. Things get weird in the desert after dark and with a 9pm kickoff, we need things to get really weird in Tuscon. Come on wildcats, bear down!
