Week 6

Washington State/UCLA-Washington St +3.5-UCLA’s defense is in for it’s largest test of the year when the Cougars come to town. Washington St. is averaging 400 yards through the air, and almost 130 on the ground. Second tough game in a row for the Bruins, after they lost 14-7 last week against Utah. Washington St has beaten Wisconsin and fellow Pac 12 foe Oregon St. already this year, and I think the Cougars are slept on in this one, even at 13th in the nation. Give me Washington St and their offense over UCLA this week.

Texas St/Louisiana Lafayette- Texas St +1-I like the Bobcats here. Their only loss is against UTSA by 7, while ULL has lost 2 against Old Dominion and Minnesota. I think G.J. Kinne has upset on his mind again after they shocked the world against Baylor, and I think they get it done in this game. Thought about the over in this one as well (66 points) because I think it has a real chance to hit here, with two teams that can put up points (Texas St. averaging 43 and ULL averaging 36). Took Texas St total wins over4.5 for the season, and I think they get it here.

Colorado/Arizona St- Colorado -3.5-I think Colorado is by far the better team in this one and I think 3.5 is too low. Arizona St. is 1-4, having only beaten Southern Utah by 3 to get in the win column. I think Coach Prime navigated through that tough 2-week test about as well as could be expected, with one blowout loss and a one possession loss. He’s gonna need this one to keep the Buffs bowl hopes alive. Travis Hunter rumored to be back this game so I think all that spells big win for the Buffalos and a rocking chair cover for us.

*BONUS PICK*-Texas St./Louisianna Over 66- Talked myself into it as I was writing the review on the spread. I think both teams are going to have to score to keep up with the other, which only helps our cause. Tease Texas St. and the over, parlay them, whatever your heart tells you to do. Can’t go wrong when you follow your heart.
