Week 5

UAB/Tulane-Over 58.5-Not much to say about this one. I think this one might be the bet of the weekend. Tulane’s at home and UAB just put up 21 on Georgia, so I think this one ends up being a high scoring game. I think Tulane is gonna have to score to keep from getting upset at home, and all that’s gonna do is help this over hit.

Arkansas/Texas A&M- Over 54.5-Well, the Hogs only made me half angry last weekend, dropping a close one to LSU, easily covering the 17.5 point spread. The Aggies come to JerryWorld after handling Auburn 27-10. I think Petrino is gonna try to put 100 up on the Hogs and I think our defense might just let him get close. I expect Rocket Sanders to play this week, which will give the Hogs more explosiveness on offense, all of which adds to the over going well over 55. Would love a Hogs win here, but I’ll take them doing their part to help this over hit.

LSU/Ole Miss-Ole Miss +2.5-LSU got lucky that Arkansas’ O-Line played AWFUL and that the Hogs mismanaged their timeouts in the second half, otherwise it very easily could’ve been a loss. Ole Miss comes in after a tough loss to Bama where they led 7-6 at half and looked to have the Tide’s number but could only muster 3 points in the second half. I think this is the best offense and defense that LSU has played since Florida St, and we all remember how that one turned out for the Tigers. Give me the home dog Rebels in this one.
